Under Disaster Management Disaster Management (DDM) Disaster Management Act-2012, an active organization will be working - involving risk reduction in the disaster management program, reducing the risk of poor and disadvantaged people from the negative impact of disaster, knowledge, research and disaster management cycle. Goal

In order to manage with various disaster disciplines, DDM will be an active organization, whose work will be undertaken by the Disaster Risk Reduction Program, responding to any disaster expertise and providing overall assistance to the Disaster Management and Relief Ministry in coordinating disaster management risk management.
